A Start.
Weigh in is weekly. 1.2kg down.
More importantly, my awareness of portion sizes and the my ability to exercise self control has been re-confirmed. I'm happy with the start.
Now to maintain the programme.

A fantastic start! Keep it up :)
Hey, good for you CCL!
I did Weight Watchers a few weeks ago to lose some weight for a play. Lost about 4/5 kilos. Regained it all of course.
I really should do something about my weight as well - it's just one of those things where I'm not comfortable at the moment, in particular about my lack of willpower. :)
I think there is a key difference though between losing weight and quitting smoking and/or drinking (or other substances). The thing is, you don't need cigarettes or alcohol to survive. But you NEED food to survive. So you can often avoid cigarettes or other smokers. It is more difficult to avoid dinners out, or BBQs etc. You have to eat, you know?!?
